Subject: Wood Dale Police Department Grant Results
The Wood Dale Police Department recently took part in a grant funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation to make our streets safer. This occurred over St. Patrick’s Day holiday week.
End results were seat belt violations, DUI Arrests, Uninsured Vehicle citations and numerous other traffic safety violations.
The next campaign will be over the Cinco de Mayo holiday period and will last three weeks long. This will be funded through an Illinois Department of Transportation grant.
